TRIGGERIDIVING
New product
Universal Manual Led Trigger of iDiving
This accessory, increasingly used in underwater photography, allows you to trigger external strobes via fiber optic cables with cameras that do not have their own flash or when you do not want to use the camera flash to extend the use of the camera battery in long sessions.
The new model of the iDiving manual trigger is universal for any camera with a standard hot shoe with a central pin. It does not require installation, except for mounting the LEDs behind the optical connector windows. For this purpose, adhesive mounting sockets or screw mounting sockets are supplied depending on the housing model.
Its advantages even if the camera has a built-in flash are the following:
- Does not consume power from the camera battery.
- It has no recycling time, allowing burst shooting.
- On some cameras it allows you to use exposure times shorter than the sync speed, for example 1/500 s on the Olympus E-M1 II.
- Dimensions: width 37 mm, length 44 mm, height 9 mm (15 mm including the shoe)
- Power: 2 button batteries, type CR2025. 1 set is enough for at least 10,000 shots
- Specific LED couplings available for the following housings:
- Isotta housings for Olympus E-M5 and E-M10
- Isotta housings for Olympus E-M1
- Olympus Housings
- Nauticam housings for Olympus and Panasonic cameras
- Universal coupling
Optional: Transparent polycarbonate connector with ½” thread and aluminum nut, for mounting in ½” M14 threaded holes or 12.7-14 mm smooth holes and with Sea&Sea type external connector.
